Shekinah was a group of 63 gifted Christian international musicians, singers, and dancers. The concept was to bring joy, light, color and praise into cathedrals in Europe. Merv and Merla were inspired while going through a cathedral in Tarregona, Spain filled with 15 mausoleums to the dead. This huge building needed the light and glory of the Lord, as do most of the cathedrals in Europe.
For three months, the musicians, singers and dancers toured England and Holland, in such places as Yorkminster Cathedral, England, and Westekerk, Holland, as well as on the steps of Trafalgar Square in England and other outdoor areas. Wherever they went, it was an explosion of high praise, musical color, and enthusiastic response.
